Engagement: Ongoing project, initially planned for 12 months, with a review after the first three months. The engagement may end at that stage depending on project requirements.
The opportunity
We're recruiting a Salesforce QA Engineer to support a major Salesforce transformation programme for an established UK social housing organisation.
The organisation is continually enhancing its Salesforce platform, developing new functionality and improving how Salesforce connects with other operational systems.
You'll play an important role in ensuring that new developments, changes and integrations work as intended, helping deliver a reliable Salesforce environment for business users.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional with genuine Salesforce testing experience.
What you'll be doing
- Testing Salesforce functionality, enhancements and system changes.
- Reviewing requirements and preparing effective test cases and test scenarios.
- Performing functional, regression and integration testing as appropriate.
- Identifying, documenting and tracking defects through to resolution.
- Retesting fixes and verifying that changes meet agreed requirements.
- Working closely with Salesforce developers to investigate issues and improve quality.
- Supporting testing activities associated with releases and ongoing platform improvements.
- Maintaining clear test evidence and communicating findings effectively.
What we're looking for
Essential
- At least two years' relevant Salesforce testing experience.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications in a professional environment.
- Strong functional testing skills, including test-case design, execution and defect management.
- Experience performing regression testing and validating changes to existing functionality.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate defects clearly and work effectively with developers.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to work remotely with at least five hours' overlap with UK business hours.
- Availability to start immediately or within 30 days.
Desirable
- Relevant Salesforce certifications.
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations with other business systems.
- Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools.
- Exposure to automated testing.
Please note: Previous hands-on Salesforce testing experience is essential. General software testing experience without Salesforce experience will not meet the requirements for this position.
Why consider this opportunity?
You'll contribute to a substantial Salesforce programme where testing quality is important to successful delivery, while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in India.
To apply: Submit your CV through this job board, clearly describing your Salesforce testing experience, the types of testing you've performed and your availability.
